Exchange Received!!

I received my exchange from Bonnie yesterday. Unhappily I don't have a camera at the moment so I can't put up a picture. It is a really nice pillow/pincushion. I hope Bonnie puts up a pic as I would like to put it in my album as received. Thank you very much, It is really cute and a perfect addition to my Thanksgiving decorations. Couldn't bring a lot with me so holiday decorations are far and few between. Again, Thank you Bonnie for a great exchange. To my exchange, I will mail by the end of the week. I am having trouble finding an envelope to put it in. Not sure where to shop here yet. Not to worry it will arrive soon.

Harvest Exchange

Well, it is finished but I haven't been able to get to the store to get the mailing envelope. I will mail soon I promise. I have finally gotten settled in and am again stitching. I am so far behind, we had to stay with friends until the previous tenants house closed, late as usual. Three weeks behind. I couldn't get to my stitching until then. Sorry, I won't be doing the Christmas exchange. I already have two others to get done and a RR on the go. Maybe next time for Easter maybe. Until then, Keep stitching, Keep smiling and always remember to ENJOY.

Harvest Exchange from Aubree

I finally found the camera and got to snap a picture of this beautiful Harvest Exchange I received this week.
Harvest Exchange from Aubree

The little scissor fob is weighted with something that feels suspiciously like BBs. I really love the fabric Aubree used for the needle book, along with the 'Fall' design it just feels like such a happy little piece. I'll bet she had fun putting that together (LOL). There were also some really cute 'extras' in the package which will be included in my blog post. Thank you so much Aubree, this is a really lovely exchange piece.

Oh, and I finally managed to get my harvest piece finished, it will go in the mail first thing tomorrow. Sorry I am so awful late partner. You all should see me sitting in my chair with my feet all tucked up and my knees in my face trying to stitch, hubby keeps threatening to get a picture but I told him I'd throw a chair at him if he does. Anyway, I thank my dear partner for being so patient with me. You'll receive it soon now.

Happy Stitching,

Exchange received

I woke up to an e-mail in my box this morning from Aubree. I received her beautiful exchange a day or two ago but hadn't posted yet because the dratted camera has disappeared again. I should have sent Aubree an e-mail but I figured the camera would turn up the minute I did that. Well, no camera yet, and poor Aubree is worried I didn't get it so I'm posting. I'll get a picture as soon as we figure out were DH put the camera after the football last weekend. Sorry I made you worry.
Happy Stitching

Harvest Time Exchange received.....

So sorry it's taking me so long to post that I have received my "Harvest Time" exchange but I have been out of town for what seems like FOREVER! I am FINALLY home and I think settled back in here for the coming winter.
Elisa sent me the cutest little pillow with a harvest design on it! It's approx. 8" square and will sit on a small shelf I have with a nice fall candle. She also sent me a couple of flosses. I can use those ALWAYS too!
Thank you SO MUCH Elisa!

Pumpkins FOR Gillie - from Wendy Jo!

You know how, when you are stitching an exchange, there is that tiny moment at the end when you wish you were keeping the piece because you've got quite fond of it? And you suspect you'll probably never stitch it for yourself? Well, this time I don't have to worry as I received a beautiful pinkeep from Wendy Jo yesterday - in the same pattern that I stitched for Bonnie! Thank you so much, my first pinkeep and I love it. It reminds me that I need to make one and conquer my fear of doing so! I also received three gorgeous threads from GAST in lovely Fall-y colours.
Bonnie, thank you for your kind words and I'm sorry I forgot to mention that it was an LHN!
Now that I'm back with the good girls (having got my exchange completed in time!) - what are we doing next?

My Pumpkins From Gillie

Today was a Happy Day in Gilbert. The mailman left a parcel in the box from Gillie.

It was a wonderful gift stitched so beautifully along with a pretty butterfly card, some Thread Drops and a skein of Weeks Dye Works Harvest.

She didn't mention who the designer was, but I knew immediately that it was LHN's Pumpkins cause I was thinking about stitching one for myself. I am really into pumpkins this year. Thanks so much Gillie, you chose the perfect design to stitch for me. It is my first Little House Needlework.

My Harvest Time exchange piece is on its way to.......?

Good grief, my head is full of radon testing (and remediation, alas!), booking removal vans and wondering how one reasonably sized house can take FOUR days to be packed up!

Anyway, because of all that completely forgot to say that my parcel left the Post Office on October 7th, and it should arrive soon, I hope!

I received a package in the mail yesterday

A big thank you to Maggee! I wish my camera was working right now so I could post a picture. It is very nicely done. She did one of the squares from Automnology and it is finished beautifully. Maggee, if you have a picture you can post before I get my hands on a camera, please do!

Thank you again. It is hanging on a door knob right now where everyone can see it :)
